The Studio started its life as an old Laundry at the world famous Duke of Marlborough Hotel. Rescued from demolition and lovingly repurposed, the Studio is available to let from 1 December to 28 February or by special request.

Situated in a quiet street and five to ten minutes’ walk from the heart of Russell, the Studio is the perfect hideaway for a single adventure or romantic weekend when you want to explore the Bay of Islands.

When you walk up the verandah stairs and into the studio you will know you are somewhere special. Stylish, contemporary, light and airy this space is perfectly proportioned open plan self contained living. 

The gorgeous bedroom area contains a comfortable queen bed, storage and thoughtfully placed occasional furniture. The lounge and kitchen are thoughtfully designed with all the comforts of a luxury hotel suite.

The Studio’s compact kitchen contains fridge, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, bench top oven and hot plate and is suited to a more relaxed style of cooking.

A seperate and spacious bathroom with a clawfoot bath and generous shower will surprise and delight. 

With a bbq and outdoor dining area, the verandah and small fenced garden are perfect for dining al fresco in the warm summer air.

This is luxe studio living at it’s finest.

Beresford Studio is only five to ten minutes stroll from the Russell to Paihia passenger ferry and 15 minutes drive to the car ferry.
